Pow Yochi takes a darker turn at Bangkok's Kisada Paradise premiere
Pow Yochi attends the June 9 Bangkok gala for Thai horror film Kisada Paradise as Blow Your Mind tops Thai iTunes R&B/Soul.
Pow Yochi stood before Bangkok audiences with the Thai film 'Kisada Paradise.' Having been active as a member of a boy group in Korea, his role as a lead in a horror film in his home country has turned this schedule into more than just a simple overseas fan meeting; it has become a stage to showcase his acting career once again.

June 9 Bangkok Central World Gala Premiere
The gala premiere was held on June 9 at 6 PM at Central World in Bangkok, Thailand. Yochi met the audience before the release alongside the main cast and led the first public screening event with co-star Nathawat Jirochitikul.
For Yochi, who first made a name for himself in Thailand before expanding his activities as a K-pop group member, the Bangkok premiere was a schedule that connected his starting point and his present in one place.
A Youth Horror Film Set in an Abandoned Water Park
'Kisada Paradise' is a youth horror film set in an abandoned water park. The trailer depicts a flow where friends lose one friend while playing hide-and-seek, and after some time passes, they become embroiled in a dangerous game at the same location.
For Yochi, who is familiar with a bright and refreshing team image, this is an opportunity to show genre acting while moving with guilt and fear. However, it is too early to predict box office success based solely on the reaction at the premiere. Actual results will depend on audience reactions and word-of-mouth following the Thai release on June 11.
'Blow Your Mind' Tops Thai R&B/Soul Charts
His musical activities were also moving during the same period. Yochi released his first domestic solo single 'Blow Your Mind (Feat. Sik-K, Bryan Chase)' on May 22. The song featured Sik-K and Bryan Chase, with Diplo and King Henry listed among the production crew.
In the official video, Yochi chose a lower and smoother R&B atmosphere compared to his activities with POW, bringing out a different texture from his youth image within the group.
This song is known to have reached the top of the Thai iTunes R&B/Soul chart and ranked 3rd on the overall Thai genre chart. It was also reported that after entering the 10th spot on the Korean YouTube Music daily Shorts chart and the 33rd spot on the Spotify Korea daily chart, it climbed to 18th.
Both the film and the solo song exposed Yochi's name in both Thailand and Korea at the same time. After continuing with stage greetings and interviews, Yochi is also preparing for a solo fan-meeting in Shanghai, China.
