SHIN JI and Mun Won’s wedding hits TV as Baek Ji Young pauses

SHIN JI and Mun Won’s wedding will be shown on the second episode of MBN’s variety program “A Precious Family from Someone Else’s Home” on the night of June 9. The couple held their ceremony in May, and the broadcast follows the full flow of the day, moving from the wedding dress fitting to the main ceremony and then to the reception.

According to the official program page, the episode is scheduled for Tuesday at 9:50 p.m. A pre-release video has already shown the bride and groom standing in front of floral decorations, along with Baek Ji Young holding a microphone and singing a congratulatory wedding song.

The second episode is structured to show both the moments before and after the ceremony in one sequence. Viewers will see the dress fitting, the wedding itself and the reception, while Mun Won is previewed reacting to SHIN JI in her wedding dress by saying, “You look pretty even in pajamas.”

The central point is not simply the guest list, but the fact that SHIN JI and Mun Won are being introduced at length on television as a married couple for the first time. Rather than focusing only on the scale of the wedding venue, the episode is set up to show how the two look at each other and how the people around them receive their relationship.

One of the most notable scenes in the pre-release footage is Baek Ji Young’s congratulatory performance. Speaking to SHIN JI, Baek Ji Young said that because they had been especially close since her debut, she felt like an older sister from the bride’s own family. She also blessed the couple, saying they had passed through many difficult times.

Baek Ji Young is also shown becoming emotional while singing Sung Si-kyung’s “Two People,” briefly stopping the song before continuing. The camera captures not only Baek Ji Young, but also the expressions of the bride and groom, the reactions of the guests and the atmosphere in front of the stage.

Koyote members Kim Jong Min and Bbaek Ga prepared congratulatory remarks and a surprise event. The two have worked with SHIN JI as members of the group for more than 20 years, making their words at the wedding a moment where SHIN JI’s personal life and Koyote’s long shared history meet.

Guests confirmed at the wedding include Yoo Jae-suk, Cha Tae-hyun, Lee Chan Won, Ailee, Insooni and Lim Ha-ryong. Moon Se-yoon and Boom served as the hosts for the ceremony.
