Lee Je-no and Na Jaemin swing WIND UP into CGV this July
WIND UP: THE MOVIE opens exclusively at CGV on July 2, 2026, reshaping the 30 million-view KITTZ baseball story for cinemas.
‘WIND UP: THE MOVIE’ has confirmed an exclusive release at CGV on July 2, 2026. This is a theatrical version of ‘WIND UP’, based on the original KITTZ work starring NCT Lee Je-no and Na Jaemin.

The original work was introduced to have surpassed 30 million cumulative views across SNS channels and the KITTZ app since its release last January. Reports also stated that it exceeded 3 million views within the first two days of its initial release.
Exclusive Release at CGV on July 2
With an exclusive release at CGV, the viewing window is centralized. In fandom-oriented content, possibilities for reservations, merchandise, special screenings, and group viewing demands can all be managed within a single chain.
CGV has consistently programmed content with strong purpose-driven viewing, such as live performance footage, fan events, and short film screenings. The short film ‘Night Fishing’ starring Son Seok-koo is often mentioned as a case that attracted over 40,000 viewers due to its short running time and low ticket price.
Lee Je-no as Woo-jin, Na Jaemin as Tae-hee
The official poster released by Take One Company features a baseball stadium atmosphere at the forefront. At the top of the screen, the blue sky and the title of the work are prominently placed, while below, a baseball dugout and two figures in uniforms are positioned. It is a poster where the stadium space catches the eye before the close-ups of the characters.
According to official data, Woo-jin, played by Lee Je-no, is a former middle school MVP but is a pitcher who cannot throw a strike due to trauma. Tae-hee, played by Na Jaemin, is a transfer student who steps up to stay by Woo-jin's side.
In the trailer, Woo-jin introduces himself as “a pitcher who cannot throw a strike,” and Tae-hee enters Woo-jin's daily life by declaring he will become a manager. Training scenes and the line “Lee Woo-jin 2.0” are also included.
From Vertical Original to Horizontal Screen
The release information includes an explanation that the original vertical-format content, optimized for mobile, will be newly processed into a horizontal screen format. The original work, which was viewed in short episodes, will be watched in a cinema format that runs continuously from beginning to end at a set time.
Lee Je-no and Na Jaemin have domestic and international fandoms through their activities with NCT DREAM. The fact that the two are members of the same group also overlaps with the story of friendship between Woo-jin and Tae-hee. ‘WIND UP: THE MOVIE’ will be screened exclusively at CGV starting July 2.
