Park Bom Ends Eight-Year Exclusive Contract With D-Nation Entertainment
Park Bom and D-Nation Entertainment have confirmed the end of their exclusive contract, with her next solo or 2NE1 plans still unannounced.
Park Bom’s exclusive contract with D-Nation Entertainment was officially confirmed to have ended on June 5, 2026. The agency’s statement centered on three points: the contract has concluded, Park Bom has been focusing on rest and recovery, and her future direction as an artist will be respected.

No new agency, solo music release schedule, or full-group 2NE1 plan has been announced. The end of the contract is now confirmed, but the shape of Park Bom’s next activities can only be determined after a separate official announcement.
D-Nation said it reached a mutual agreement with Park Bom to end the exclusive contract after sufficient discussion. Describing her current situation, the agency explained that Park Bom has been concentrating on recovering her health and taking time to rest. On her future activities, it said it respects the artist’s stability and chosen direction.
The announcement did not include the name of any new management company, a timetable for solo music, or plans for a complete 2NE1 lineup. While the contract termination itself is settled, the next step in her career remains unconfirmed until another formal statement is released.
Park Bom debuted in 2009 as a member of 2NE1. After her contract with YG Entertainment ended in 2016, she spent a period away from regular activity before joining D-Nation in 2018. This separation marks a career turning point because it closes the contract with the company that handled her solo activities after 2NE1.
Her 2019 release “Spring” stands as a representative result of the D-Nation period. Park Bom’s official Linktree still gathers D-Nation, YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, and Instagram in one place, and the music video for “Spring” remains one of the main links. The official music video features close-up shots of a flower field and an appearance by Sandara Park.
Park Bom also drew renewed attention in 2024 during the momentum around 2NE1’s 15th-anniversary reunion. However, the group name 2NE1, YG’s “WELCOME BACK” project, and Park Bom’s individual contract with D-Nation are separate matters. A change in one area does not automatically settle the others.
For a full-group stage to be discussed again, the wishes and schedules of all four members — CL, Sandara Park, Park Bom, and Gong Min-ji — would have to align, along with the production side and rights arrangements. This contract termination changes only the individual management item concerning Park Bom. The end of her personal contract may be one clue in discussions about reunion possibilities, but it is not a confirmation signal.
Park Bom’s next options can be divided into several paths: signing with a new company and preparing solo music, working project by project through an OST or collaboration track, coordinating separately as part of a team if a 2NE1 project takes shape, or continuing an official period of rest.
The direction that appears least in conflict with the current official statement is a slower, project-based approach. Park Bom’s strength is a vocal tone that is recognizable after one listen, and that strength becomes clearest when the emotion of a song matches it. By contrast, any large-scale schedule built around a fast comeback would need to be confirmed alongside the statement’s emphasis on stability and rest.
What is needed next is an official announcement. If it comes from Park Bom herself, the key points will be her willingness to resume activities and the pace she chooses. If it comes from a new company, the focus will be the contract terms and her first project. If it concerns 2NE1, then coordination of the team schedule will need to be confirmed before individual activities can be assessed.
For now, the verified conclusion is narrow. Park Bom has ended her eight-year run with D-Nation, and the official statement presents rest and recovery as her current status. Her next activities can only be judged after a new official announcement is made.
